The moment created by the wheel actioned by driver is transmitted with the help of gears. The action transmitted to pump via steering valve is transmitted by steering cylinder to wheel carrier and steering knuckle by means of axle rod.
Tie rod ends are the parts which transmit the movement occurring when rotating the steering wheel to the wheels. Tie rod end is composed of a joint and a body. In agricultural vehicles, tie rod ends are classified in two categories as female tie rod end and male tie rod end. Heavy Duty Vehicles use female tie rod ends, in addition to tie rod ends.
It is the fitting which transmits the action of steering wheel to the tie rod end, enabling wheels to rotate horizontally. Forwarding the force received from steering valve, axial joint must have a swinging angle which enables maximum rotational motion of the wheels.
